北京王府學校于2017年1月通過了WASC(美國西部學校與學院聯盟)認證。自此，北京王府學校成為了中國地區為數不多的獲得WASC國際認證的學校之一。

We're proud to announce that Beijing Royal School has officially become a WASC accredited school since January 2017.WASC is one of six official academic bodies responsible for the accreditation of universities and schools both inside and outside the United States. Accreditation means that a school is a trustworthy institution for student learning with high standards of educational quality and academic integrity.

This WASC accreditation channels a new period of growth for BRS and anchors and buoys our international reputation throughout the world. Most significantly, the education system in BRS will be further recognized and acknowledged by institutions of education in the United States and around the world, and graduation from a WASC accredited school will open doors to BRS graduates applying to top-notch universities around the world.

2016年11月，WASC專家組到訪王府學校，與校董事會、管理團隊、教職員工、學生及家長進行隨機座談，并走遍了教學區和住宿區的每一個角落，對王府學校的方方面面進行了細致而嚴謹的考核。認證專家們肯定了王府學校多年來辦學的成就，高度贊揚了學校全體成員渴望不斷提升成為國際名校的意愿和行動力;同時也為王府學校接下來的發展給出了十分中肯的建議和指導。
