The IELTS examination lecture has been finished successfully on April 9. The IELTS experts from the British Council shared a lot of useful information about IELTS with students.

4月9日，雅思專題講座在北京王府學校國際報告廳圓滿落幕。來自英國文化教育協會的專家們為同學們分享了許多對于雅思考生有幫助的信息。

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world’s most popular English language test hold by the British Council. There are more than 2 million IELTS test takers each year. This lecture aims to bring high-quality language materials to every learner and teacher who wants them, in order to let the students know more about IELTS.

雅思考試是由英國文化教育協會舉辦的全世界的語言考試。每年，全世界有超過200萬的考生參加雅思考試。本次的講座致力于為所有學員和老師提供他們所需要的高質量的語言學習資料，促進大家對雅思考試有更深層次的了解。

In the lecture, the language experts used interesting video to drawn students’ attention first, then shown the magic use of English in our daily life. In the end, they shared some useful methods for IELTS examination preparation in examples. This lecture provides learning instruction for students, proved high recognition degree and widespread utilization about IELTS examination in the oversea life. This lecture hopes to help all student open doors for their live, study and work around the world in the future.

Including but not limited the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan and South Africa.

IELTS categories

I. Academic IELTS.

Academic IELTS: This test is for test takers wishing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those seeking professional registration in the UK.

IELTS學術類(A類)：適用于希望出國留學申請本科，研究生及以上學位，或者獲得專業**的測試者。

II. General Training IELTS.

General training IELTS: This test is for test takers wising to migrate to the UK and for those wishing to train or study below degree level.

IELTS培訓類(G類)：適用于希望移民到英國，或是申請培訓類及非文憑類課程的測試者。

III. IELTS for UK Visa and Immigration.

The last one is IELTS for UKVI. It is a UK government approved Secure English Language Test (SELT). This means that IELTS can be used to prove your English language abilities in support of a UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) application.

最后一個是UKVI類雅思。它是由英國**認證的語言測試。這意味著雅思可以作為申請英國各類簽證或移民時的有效語言能力證明。

Test sites: there are 75 test sites located in 40 cities in China, which 8 in Beijing; UKIV test sites are located in Beijing Foreign Studies University, Capital University of Economics and Business and China National Educational Examinations Authority.
